Single Asset Exposure Limited (SAEL) is the latest investment innovation developed by Boston Managed Investments Limited (BMIL). Delivered to the market as a stand-alone business in 2017, SAEL aims to provide wholesale and sophisticated investors with the opportunity to take direct tradable allocations in single asset exposures. You, as the investor, make the decision on which asset to invest in based on your experience, knowledge and risk profile.

These single assets investments may include secured income producing assets with a specific focus on real property and/or first registered mortgages, or you may wish to take an equity/income position in a specific property. If your risk appetite extends further up the risk curve, you may choose an equity only type investment that includes development and construction funding.

In addition to traditional property based assets, SAEL will also participate in the new Federal Government legislated “crowd source equity funding” programs. (Currently SAEL is awaiting the final regulations to be produced around this type of investment vehicle.) SAEL will also participate in providing opportunities via the Early Stage Venture Capital Limited Partnerships which can provide qualifying investment returns as capital gains tax exempt.

By using carefully managed corporate and trust structures, dedicated to managing a single asset, SAEL provides its investors with the ability to participate in investments that have previously been only possible to invest in on a whole of asset basis.
