The Stanmore Property Trust (TSPT) is a unit trust within which all assets required to conduct the business of the Salisbury Hotel are held. The TSPT has an asset size of $11,943,558.

The Salisbury Hotel at Stanmore has recently been upgraded by the expenditure of more than $3.5 million to provide an improved customer experience, an increase of gaming machine entitlements, and a complete renovation of the underutilized accommodation facilities. The recently completed accommodation facilities include a refreshed and newly fitted 20 bedrooms, serviced by eight brand new modern, shared bathrooms. The intimate outdoor area gives access to the café from 6 am each day which will assist in reinforcing the Salisbury as an all-day social destination in the Stanmore village. The renovations of the hotel were to reflect the tastes of the evolving local population to a younger more affluent community which seeks services and entertainment within the local precinct so as to minimise the use of car-based transport.

The purpose of the program is to return the ownership of The Salisbury Hotel to the Dore/Larkin families to recapture the true “local family hotel” so desperately desired in urban Sydney.
